Transitional Living Center
The Transitional Living Center is an aftercare referral
option geared toward young men who have successfully completed a residential
program, and are ready to assimilate successfully into the community.
This generally takes the form of full-time paid employment, education,
or a combination of both.
This 2,000 square-foot, two story home is centrally located in the heart
of Provo's student district. With five bedrooms, two full baths, a dining
area, living room, and kitchen, it will easily house five transitioning
youth. It's proximity to the local university and state colleges allows
our young men more access to public transportation as well as to local
businesses and positive peer events.
The Transitional Living Center offers the next step
for residential graduates, providing a safe, sober house with structure
and supervision provided by live-in staff, and with the full support of
The Journey programming. Transitional Living residents have access to
Journey services and are encouraged to participate in The Journey activities
and trips.
