Out Patient Services

The Journey‘s Explore program provides outpatient treatment with an emphasis on substance abuse lasting 3-6 months. Initially, each youth can receive a substance abuse assessment by an experienced LSAC, to determine the degree of care and most effective ways to provide treatment. Treatment consists of a variety of options ranging from individual and family therapy, random drug testing, tracking services as well as a variety of different therapy groups which focus on substance abuse. Groups are facilitated by a therapist or a trained paraprofessional. The groups are open-ended, allowing for clients to enter the treatment at any time of the cycle.
